Terms & Conditions for Frame Protection Installation:
Lifespan: The lifespan of the frame protection varies from bike to bike, influenced by factors such as wear, tear, and general treatment. While some of my personal bikes have maintained their first kit for up to five years, heavy usage may reduce longevity. Individual replacement panels are available for all kits.
Contamination/paint marks:
Despite taking all reasonable precautions during the installation process—including using clean, lint-free cloths and maintaining a clean work environment—contaminants such as dust may occasionally occur and are unavoidable.
Its rare for any paint finish to be flawless from the factory & as such, any paint defects can become more obvious once the film is installed. This is not covered by my warranty.
Visibility:
The film used for protection is a market-leading, professional-grade Paint Protection Film (PPF) known for its exceptional clarity. It is designed to resist yellowing, even under summer exposure. However, it is important to note that it is not 100% invisible; paint finishes may make it appear less visible than others. Please reach out for advice on specific finishes, particularly matte or satin.
Universal kits:
Universal kits can’t & won’t offer the same level of protection as a full custom/tailored installation.
I usually use the Invisiframe ‘maxi’ version of a kit wherever possible to allow as much film as possible per installation.
Templates are made prior to being transferred onto the film & hand cut before fitting, so can’t offer the same accuracy as a plotter produced custom kit.
Warranty:
Product dependant, film manufacturing warranty can be upto 10 years against yellowing or cracking.
Fitting is guaranteed for a period of 28 days from fitting against pealing edges etc. Due to the nature of the product & its intended use, damage due to abrasions, impact & general wear & tear, cleaning procedures etc. are excluded.
Lifting edges can occur ,especially on some tighter corners (shock rocker links, rear end stays for example)
This is avoided as much as possible, but can happen especially after use & exposure to extreme conditions. It is possible to clean & trim those areas, or replace panels if required.
Frame protection kits are a consumable item & must be considered as such.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message & discuss your requirement.
All bookings are assumed to have read & agreed to these terms.
